Dr. Braden was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He attended the University of Texas at San Antonio and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1981. He then went on to the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio and graduated with a doctor of medicine (MD) degree in 1985. Dr. Braden went into the United States Air Force, serving as a flight surgeon for 2 years. He completed a 3 year dermatology residency at Wilford Hall USAF hospital in 1991. He served 2 more years in the Air Force before coming to Fredericksburg, establishing a private practice in dermatology in the Texas Hill Country in 1993. Dr. Braden's practice consists of general and surgical dermatology and has over 25 years of experience in the dermatology specialty. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Braden is a member of the Hill Country Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association. He is on the medical staff at Hill Country Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Braden and his wife Donna live in Fredericksburg and belong to St. Mary's Catholic Church. They have 3 children.
